We are excited to announce the launch of the Eco Club at Bacon's College, a new initiative inspired by a recent assembly featuring Henry from the Green Schools Project. This club marks a significant step towards our commitment to environmental sustainability and student involvement in ecological initiatives.
Embarking on a Zero Carbon Journey
Following the insightful and motivating assembly by the Green Schools Project, we are eager to involve our students in the Zero Carbon Schools programme. This programme aims to develop a comprehensive, school-wide sustainability project, focusing on reducing our carbon footprint and enhancing environmental awareness among our students and staff.
Meeting Time: Every Friday during lunchtime
Location: School Library
Activities: The club will engage in various activities, including planning and implementing sustainability projects, learning about environmental issues, and participating in workshops and events.
Students are encouraged to bring and eat their lunch during the club meetings, creating a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere.
This is a unique opportunity to learn, collaborate, and lead in efforts that contribute to a healthier planet.
For more information about the Eco Club and how to participate, students are encouraged to visit the school library or contact the club coordinator.
Together, let's work towards a greener, more sustainable future at Bacon's College!
