Home Learning at Bacon's College

Students at Bacon’s College are expected to complete homework outside of their timetabled lessons. They are expected to complete this work unsupervised in order to develop their capacity to study independently.  Homework is intended to both raise attainment and nurture those independent research and study skills that will be increasingly important to them throughout their education and careers.  

All homework is set on www.showmyhomework.com

Parents and Carers also have their own log in to Show My Homework so that you can see for yourself what has been set and when it's due. Please ensure that your child completes all their homework.

• Students can login via the orange link with the same username and password that they would use to login to school computers.

• Parents should use the code they received when their child first started at the school.

• Anybody experiencing problems with logging in to the system should contact the school office.

Students needing support and access to computers are very welcome to join our daily homework club, which takes place after school in the library every day. 

Students who do not complete their homework will be set an hour detention after school by their teacher.
