Bacon's College is delighted to announce an exciting addition to our World Book Day celebrations this year - the Staff Favourites Book Quiz! As we gear up for a day dedicated to the wonders of reading on World Book Day, our staff are preparing to share their most cherished books with our students in a fun and interactive way.

Our staff members, from various departments and roles within the school, are selecting their favourite reads, spanning a wide range of genres, both fiction and non-fiction. But, in a playful twist, they won't just tell you the book; they'll give you clues to guess who chose it. These hints could relate to the subjects they teach, their roles at Bacon's College, or even personal tidbits that many students will recognise.
This unique quiz will be part of tutor time activities, engaging students in a literary guessing game that promotes reading and strengthens our school community. Additionally, the chosen books, along with the clues and reasons why they're favourites, will be displayed on posters throughout the library, encouraging students to explore new genres and titles.
