Courage and Compassion are two of the values that we aim to instil in our students, so it's always wonderful to hear stories about students living those values outside of school too.
Courage and Compassion are two of the values that we aim to instil in our students, so it's always wonderful to hear stories about students living those values outside of school too. Last week, I received a letter of thanks from the mother of a girl who was saved from a potentially life-threatening situation by the quick actions of 3 brothers from Bacon's.
Alfie, Harry and Georgie Blackwell, aged 13, 12 and 11, found the girl who was having the seizure on November 9 and sprang into action. They rolled her onto her side, supported her head with one of their jackets and called an ambulance, waiting with the girl for the ambulance crew to arrive. Their compassionate and sensible actions made the local news, and I'd like to take this opportunity again to say Well Done to them all.
