The Brilliant Club is a programme that helps students develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to progress to the most competitive universities. PhD student tutors deliver challenging courses on subjects beyond the curriculum, offering students the experience of university-style learning in small group tutorials. The programme supports students to develop key university-preparedness skills including critical thinking, subject knowledge, written communication, and university self-efficacy. Our Year 11 participants completed a 2,000 word assignment on "From Macbeth to Hamilton: how historical is historical fiction", and all of our "graduates" from the programme attended a graduation ceremony at SOAS University of London last week. Here's Isra's speech at the ceremony.
