Within RS lessons we aim to promote community cohesion by helping students to understand and value diversity, whilst also promoting shared values. Through great teaching, students are engaged and motivated to succeed within school and beyond.
Sociology provides students with the exciting opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the world around them and reflect on social issues that are often relevant to their own social experiences.
Psychology gives students the ability to question their own behaviour and draw conclusions of different people’s actions, views, thoughts and beliefs, thus gaining a further understanding of the wider world. The curriculum will encourage students to value the importance of psychological research and promote curiosity of the human mind and body.
