Below you can view the most recent Live Event for Parents where Mr Wilson discussed the the return to remote learning, changes to external exams and the introduction of mass testing.

Remote Learning:

Information and guidance for students on how to access their online resources can be found here.

Continuity of Learning

There are various scenarios where students may have to be off school, ranging from individual students needing to self-isolate through year groups being sent home to whole or partial school closure. We have produced a continuity of learning plan to cover all of these scenarios that can be found here. Whatever scenarios we face over the coming months, it is vital that all students continue with their learning and, once again, we will maximise the opportunities provided through online learning resources.

The latest College Risk Assessment can be found at the bottom of our Information & Guidance page.

Catch-Up Premium

We have been allocated the modest sum of £48,000 as a ‘catch-up premium’ by the DfE. Although this is of course welcome, £48,000 does not go very far in a school of nearly 1000 students. We have produced a catch-up plan which can be found here.

The Department for Education has launched a new helpline to answer questions about COVID-19 related to education. Staff, parents and young people can contact the helpline as follows:
