Advice for Parents and Carers

All of our COVID-19 pages contain useful information to support the wellbeing and academic progress of all our students. We have highlighted key information and advice specifically for parents and carers which can be found here.

Remote Learning:

Information and guidance for students on how to access their online resources can be found here.

Keyworker Provision

Currently we have no children of keyworkers or vulnerable children working in school during the closure. We recognise that parents’ situations such as shift patterns can change. If you are interested in provision for your child to be in school please email Sam Church at s.church@baconscollege.co.uk
We believe Southwark are establishing hubs to provide provision over the Easter period. If you may need childcare provision over the Easter period please also email Sam Church.

The school building is closed to visitors apart from the most essential. If there is a reason to visit the College please phone ahead. Pupils will not be able to visit to see staff or collect work.

Safeguarding, Pastoral Care, Wellbeing and Enrichment

The safeguarding and pastoral care of our students is especially important to us during this time. Information on our care provision can be found here

Prayer and reflection are key to our daily routines at Bacon's. We continue to provide the opportunity for students and families to take the time to stop and reflect, with more information here.

Students wellbeing and enrichment remain crucial to their development. Resources for students and families on self-care, reading, enrichment and fun activities can be found here.

Our Careers Guidance team are still hard at work to help students make the most of digital opportunities and preparing for work. More information from them can be found here.
